CLINTON, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks cross country teams headed north to Hamilton College for their annual invitational on Saturday.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Five Hawks turned in personal bests in the race.
- Brynita Haas (Red Creek, N.Y.) came in first for the women's team in the 5K with a new personal best of 21:44.
- Next to cross the line for Hartwick was Maddy Smith (Oneonta, N.Y.) with a time of 22:45.
- Sophie Ridgway (Albany, N.Y.), Atti Dinsmore (Burkburnett, Tex.), and Giovanna Wall (West Hurley, N.Y.) also recorded personal best times.
- Aidan Freda (Westtown, N.Y.) finished first for the Hawks in the men's 8K race with a time of 31:26.
- Sam Bagley (Sidney, N.Y.) was the second finisher for the men with a personal best time of 33:01.
UP NEXT FOR THE HAWKS
The Hawks will take a weekend break from competition before heading back to Hamilton College on Saturday, October 22 for the short-course race in preparation for the Empire 8 Championship the following weekend.
