ONEONTA, N.Y. – Sydney Gagnon (Chestertown, N.Y.) has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) NCAA Division III Region 3 First Team.  This is Gagnon's third appearance on the NFHCA All-Region First Team, having earned the honor in 2019 and 2021.
 
The forward posted 18 goals and 6 assists across 18 games.  Of those 18 goals, two were game-winners, and two were off of penalty stroke attempts.
 
Gagnon ended her collegiate career as a four-time Empire 8 First Team selection.  In 2019 she was named Empire 8 Rookie of the Year and was selected as the Player of the Year this season.  The senior was also selected to participate in the NFHCA Senior Game.
