ONEONTA, N.Y. – The Hartwick Hawks Women's Soccer program had five players receive 2022 Empire 8 Women's Soccer All-Conference accolades.
Gianna Cacciola (Wading River, N.Y.) was named to the First Team after recording three goals and one assist across 13 games for Hartwick. This is Cacciola's second all-conference award, receiving Third Team honors a season ago.
Nicole Conway (Chester, N.Y.) was also a First Team honoree as a defender. The senior posted the game-winning goal in Hartwick's 1-0 upset win over Nazareth on October 22. Conway was also recognized as a Third Team selection in 2021.
Senior,
Aly Fish (Gansevoort, N.Y.) collected her first all-conference selection as a Second Team honoree. The midfielder recorded one goal and one assist over 15 games.
Kayla Grassi (Montgomery, N.Y.) makes her first appearance on an Empire 8 all-conference list as she was tabbed as a Third Team selection. The sophomore midfielder played in 15 games for the Hawks, starting in 14.
As a senior,
Arianna Alvarez (Center Moriches, N.Y.) earned her first all-conference award also being named to this year's Third Team squad. The defender tallied one assist across 13 games for Hartwick.
Representing Hartwick as the 2022 Empire 8 Women's Soccer Sportswoman of the Year was senior,
Hannah Bochniak (Barneveld, N.Y.).
