Utica, N.Y. – The Hawks Men and Women's Cross Country team traveled to SUNY Poly to participate in the 2023 Wildcat Classic Invitational.

Brynita Haas (Red Creek, N.Y.) continued her strong season with a personal best time of 25:38 to notch ninth place overall, beating her previous personal record by ten seconds.

Maddy Smith (Oneonta, N.Y.) finished with a 26:46 time beating last year's mark by nine seconds.

Sophia Kehr (Charlotte, Vt.) joined the club, beating her best by 26 seconds with a time of 28:29.

Taylor Stalker (Lowville, N.Y.) beat her best by a minute and 17 seconds finishing in 30:28 time.

Stephanie Cohen (Westtown, N.Y.) and Lisa Powless (Oneida, N.Y.) made their season debuts for the Hawks both making personal best times, beating their previous marks by over a minute and a half.

The Men ranked for the first time this season as Jodi Johnson (Seaford, Del.) would be the top finisher for the men with a personal best of 29:39 beating his old mark by four minutes.

Frank Guenther (Dolgeville, N.Y.) and Ethan Benedict (Buffalo, N.Y.) also had personal best with Guenther finishing with a 33:29 time, beating his previous time by a minute and twenty one seconds and Benedict beating his time by fourteen seconds.
