Hartwick College Athletics

2021-2022:  Competed in freestyle and butterfly events… part of the 400 freestyle relay team that claimed silver at the Allegheny-Empire Championship… 2022 Spring Empire 8 President’s List... received Phillip S. Wilder, Jr. Award for academic distinction

2020-2021: Named to Empire 8 Spring 2021 President's List.

2019-2020: Seventh on the team with 125 dual-meet and 219 overall points … picked up 92 points at Allegheny Empire Championship, sixth of all Hawks … at conference championship, was eighth in 100 free and 12^th in 50 free and 100 fly … part of Second Team All-Conference efforts in 200 free, 400 free, and 400 medley relays … had 11 individual second-place and seven individual third-place finishes on the season … part of eight relay wins and five relay second-place finishes this year.

Prior to Hartwick: Attended Souderton Area High School … lettered in swimming and diving and water polo all four years … in swimming, named to District 1 AAA team and State Team all four years … in water polo, named All-Eastern Conference in 2018 and 2019 and All-State and to the East Coast All-Star team in 2019 … swam for the Souderton Aquatic Club.

Personal: Favorite sports team is the Philadelphia Eagles … favorite athlete is Zach Ertz … favorite movie is Step Brothers … favorite musician is Post Malone … grandfather, Michael Sinkinson, was an All-American swimmer at Bucknell University … son of Jeff and Jennifer Sinkinson … undecided on a major.
 
Why Hartwick? “I chose to attend Hartwick because of the family-like atmosphere of the swim team. The members of the team and coaches made me feel at home right away. I also like the small class sizes and academic reputation of the college.”
