ONEONTA, N.Y. – Alexandra Krasinska (Pine Island, N.Y.) made her mark in her first collegiate season, earning Empire 8 Player of the Year honors as voted upon by the Empire 8 coaches.
Krasinska went 8-2 overall in Hartwick's 1
st singles slot and 7-0 in conference play. The first year was dominant against her Empire 8 opponents, winning all seven contests in straight sets. She was also a First Team All-Conference Singles selection.
The Warwick Valley graduate was also dominant in doubles play with 1
st doubles partner,
Phoebe Olson (Jamestown, N. Dak). The two went undefeated in Empire 8 play and received First Team Doubles recognition.
